Protech Adds an Independent Director

Posted on December 9, 2020 by Aaron Warwick

This morning Protech (PTQQF or PTQ.V) announced the addition of Dr. Kevin A. Carter to their Board of Directors as an Independent Director. According to the release, Dr. Carter is Board Certified in Sleep Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine; he is also Board Certified in Family Medicine. Dr. Carter has previously served as Medical Director at the Martin Army Sleep Medicine Center at Fort Benning, Georgia. Prior to that appointment, he served as a United States Army Field Surgeon, with service including deployment in Iraq. Currently, through the Carter Sleep Center, Dr. Carter offers full-spectrum sleep medicine evaluations, diagnosis, and treatments. Dr. Carter holds the degree of Fellow by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, a recognition that he has met the highest standards in the practice of sleep medicine.

This appointment of an Independent Director to PTQQF’s Board is one step they needed to take in order to be eligible for a listing on an American stock exchange such as the Nasdaq or NYSE, as mentioned by Breakout Investor Aaron Warwick in his piece last week, “Why I’m Fired Up about PTQQF.”
