Breakout Investors is a community of stock pickers looking for small-cap and micro-cap companies with catalysts in front of them that we believe can lead to very significant near-term price appreciation. In November 2021, the names with the largest moves, from trough to peak, were:
Summer Infant (SUMR) up 64%
This infant products company is discussed in Christopher Hampton’s Breakout Room.
Christopher has long contended that Summer would move up sharply once supply chains recovered.
That contention was clearly supported by the November move, as noted by Ashley and Seeking Alpha.
MP Materials (MP) up 37%
This American rare earths company is discussed in Matt Rakowski’s Breakout Room.
MP was the subject of a short selling hit piece in late October, causing the Breakout community to respond aggressively siding with the bulls.
The stock quickly recovered and investors are increasingly aware of the strategic importance of the company and its role in EVs.
David’s Tea (DTEA) up 36%
This Canadian-based specialty tea company is discussed in Florian Buschek’s Breakout Room.
DTEA was a community favorite early this year when keen minds identified a mispricing due to misunderstanding a restructuring.
After booking those profits, most have moved on, but some see continued value, and the stock clearly is still capable of rewarding those long.
